A little about Martin, aka Marty…

  • His nickname is Marty Party because he is happy all the time.

  • Ball is life, and fetch is his favorite game. However, If he gets ahold of two balls, he plays soccer with them. He’ll carry one around in his mouth and dribble the other around or step on it so it shoots out and he can chase it around.

  • If he’s anywhere near water, he’s in it! He loves to dive for the ball and we’re considering putting him in Dock Dogs competitions because of how far he jumps!

  • Pup cups are his favorite snack and he’ll stand on his hind legs to eat them because he’s just so excited about them!

  • At least once a week, someone tells me that meeting him made their day.

  • He’s currently in training to be a fully certified PSD service dog.

Thank y’all so much for bringing me such an amazing bundle of joy. He really is the best.

Attached are some of my favorite photos of Marty.

Thanks again,

Cynthia

Why an Aussalier?

The Aussalier is somewhat a new designer breed, created by breeding a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel to a Mini Australian Shepherd. One of the reasons for this cross is to create a dog that is healthy and have a long life span.

They are very intelligent and learn easily. These puppies have a great temperament and love to play, but also like to be held and snuggled. A popular family pet, they have great endurance to play and exercise for long periods of time, but are not hyper and have high energy levels.

Another bonus is the blue merle color that is not natural to Charles Cavalier Spaniel but is to the Mini Aussie. Colors vary anywhere from a black tricolor to blue merle, red merle, and red tricolor. By crossbreeding, this should help eliminate common health issues known to the cavaliers, such as eye issues, or any other common health issues that could pop up. They are not hypoallergenic and will slightly shed and have a wavy coat. They will mature to 15-20 lbs and will be your lifelong companion.
